1. Determine the air intake of the engine. The required air flow is generally expressed in cfm or m³/min. 4. Select the specific air filter model. Refer to the initial air flow resistance table of the type you need. If there are two air filter models that suit your parameters, choose the one with the lowest flow resistance to ensure that the air filter has the longest service life.
5. Choose air intake accessories. Although they are called accessories, such as rain caps, mounting brackets, pre-filters and clamps, they are all important parts of the entire intake system.
