The filter is based on the principle of counter-current, the raw water enters the filter through the water inlet pipe through the water distributor at the bottom. The water flows backward through the sand filter bed from bottom to top, and the filtrate after sand filtration gathers on the top of the filter and flows out through the counterflow port. The contaminated filter material at the bottom of the filter is lifted to the sand washer at the top of the filter by compressed air, and the contaminants are separated from the continuous sand by turbulent flow. The magazine is discharged through the cleaning water outlet, and the clean sand is returned to the sand by its own weight. The bed thus achieves continuous filtration.

The continuous sand filter system consists of the corresponding pipe body, cone-shaped sand filter guide device, internal filter unit, water inlet pipe, filtrate outlet pipe, flushing water outlet pipe, elastic connection between the internal filter unit and the corresponding pipe, air compressor and Control system and other components.
